Cornerstone Bible Fellowship exists to move out in faith and prayer as we go and lead people to Jesus Christ, disciple them to maturity through practical Bible teaching, and to minister within our spiritual gifts as we worship God is spirit and truth.

WE ARE BUILDING ON A FOUNDATION OF PRAYER

All 5 purposes of CBF rest on an uncompromising foundation of prayer. We firmly believe that prayer MUST BE the foundation of ALL that we do. "If we defeat the Devil on the prayer meeting night, we will defeat him on any other day of the week.", Pastor Cymbala.   This is a special time that we meet together to pray corporately for the vision and mission of Cornerstone; that we bear each others burdens before the throne of grace; and the time when the leadership shares current updates for prayer. This is the time when we share from our hearts and praise God for what He is doing with our lives and in our ministry.

OUR PRAYER MEETING HELD EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 PM IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEETING OF OUR FELLOWSHIP.

PURPOSE 1: EVANGELISM

Go and Lead People to Christ: We believe it is the responsibility of every Christian to go and share the Gospel effectively with others and lead them to Christ.

PURPOSE 2: DISCIPLESHIP

Disciple to maturity: After a person accepts Christ, it is our responsibility to disciple them to maturity in Christ through one on one discipleship and small groups

PURPOSE 3: PRACTICAL BIBLE TEACHING

Teaching the Word of God in a creative and practical manner: The discipleship will be conducted in faith and the power of the Holy Spirit through Biblical and practical teaching with emphasis on the application of Godand#39;s Word.

PURPOSE 4: MINISTRY WITHIN GIFTEDNESS

We believe that each child of God possess at least one spiritual gift: Therefore, we encourage each one to seek God to minister in their area of giftedness under the leadership of CBF. Talent, however, is different from a spiritual gift, but can be used for the glory of God in ministry. Our whole body is to be a sacrifice of worship to God. At CBF a personand#39;s ministry or talent will NEVER take precedence over holy living. It does not matter how gifted or talented a person is, they cannot continue to minister if they are living a sinful lifestyle before God.

PURPOSE 5: WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH

We believe that worshiping God in spirit and in truth is just as important as correct Biblical teaching. We see the Biblical importance of striking a balance in both areas.
