Our Church Family

Who we are...

Our church is a nondenominational  diverse community of people from over 20 countries. We celebrate God's faithfulness in knitting us all together.

Our Mission?  Devoted to God… Committed to Loving Others

The mission statement of our church answers the simple but profound question; why are we here? In Matthew 22: 37 & 39, Jesus gives the most concise reason for our existence especially as His followers. He said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” He follows this statement with, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Our mission as a family of believers is to devote ourselves to God, which is the truest expression of our love for God, and then to love others. In Matthew 28, Jesus further explains what our devotion to God and commitment to love others must look like in practice. In verse 19 & 20 He said,“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Not only do we realize why we are here, we also understand what our being here should look like. In addition to being devoted to God and committed to loving others, we must share the gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples. These are the reasons why Cornerstone Bible Fellowship exists!

In order for our family to become and remain strong, we recognize the need to focus on raising up and developing the future leaders of our church and community. We will continually assess and provide whatever is necessary to raise up and grow the next generation of persons that God can use to lead His church and our community in the years to come. By God’s grace and power, we will develop the next missionaries, pastors, ministry leaders, and community leaders. Paul’s charge to Timothy will be the heartbeat of our church as we grow the next generations of spiritual giants. “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2: 2). The accomplishment of this goal will be measured not just by the number of programs that we have for our young people but more importantly by the impact that our young people make as they influence their peers and also the leadership roles that they will take on within our church.

Meeting the needs of our community...

Each year we engage with our community with 2 of our signature Christmas events. The Cornerstone Store & Gifts from the Heart.

The Christmas Store provides persons in need with a "hand up" rather than a "hand out."  We stock our shelves with  non perishable goods, household products, and fresh fruit and gifts cards.  All of these items are sold at prices discounted by 80%- 90% and shoppers can make choices about what to purchase giving  them the opportunity to feel good about how they are spending their money.

Gifts from the Heart is a program run under our Women's Prison Ministry and each year gifts are purchased and distributed to the children of the mothers who are incarcerated.

These programs, and others, provide us the opportunity to meet the physical and spiritual needs in our community.

Where we are headed...

We continue to meet together on a regular basis to allow God's word to transform our lives. We look forward to introducing new bible study opportunities and fellowship events so that we can grow together as a church and a local community.
